Why would he care about coaching at Tennessee? His wife was a cheerleader there so that's why? He makes more money doing MNF with lot less stress. Plus he doesn't have to recruit, which he's never attempted doing. If Dirk Koetter gets fired, which seems more likely, I'd look for Gruden to go back to Tampa.

I believe Tennessee is going to pay Gruden in the $10 million range, which makes sense when you look at Harbaugh and Saban.

I think it'd be a fantastic hire. Dude would recruit like a mad man with that Super Bowl ring and the "superstar" persona/brand he has created. Whether he sustains Saban-level success is another question, but I'd give him a chance. Most fans I've talked to are saying they'd love the hire even if it didn't work out, because it'd show Tennessee were serious about winning again, unlike the Dooley/Jones debacles. They are like pre-Saban Alabama in a lot of ways, IMO. They haven't won a national title in 20 years, and all these people care about is football.

Bielema was fired literally while walking off the field today. Malzahn has been the hot rumor for a couple of weeks. Really hoping that's not true. He would have to really miss this state or be full-on retarded to leave Auburn for Arkansas anyway.
