Duke is a 3 point favorite on the road and all of these losers picked them. Yeah, they are screwed.

Never thought I’d see a black coach of an HBCU reference Jimmy the Greek

Duke at Georgia Tech: Speaking of soon-to-be-lamented Coastal Chaos, it’s hard to top Georgia Tech, days after firing its coach and the athletic director who hired him, going up to Pittsburgh and knocking off the defending division champions. That’s the pure, distilled essence of the Coastal Division, and oh how we shall miss it next season.

So what does all that mean for Duke this weekend? Who knows! On paper, the resurgent Blue Devils should have no problem with the Rambling Wreck. But Pittsburgh shouldn’t have either. N&O consensus: More rambling wreckage

Moton says: “GT’s coming off a huge win since the coaching change. Duke’s coming off a huge win, a program win. I’ll take Duke because I think they’ve got a great cohesive group.”

That's one thing I wouldn't expect any college coach to do. The fanbases aren't as sophisticated, so it's all downside for the coach. If it works, they'll still think you're stupid. If it doesn't, they'll want you fired.

I think what sucks the most about this loss is that we haven’t won one of these true nail biters in years. Since beating ND and UNC in 2016, we haven’t won a single game by less than 7 points, and dropped those gut punchers to Pitt in 2018 and 2019, the HB pass fiasco vs UNC in 2019, and the Charlotte and GT cover 0 disasters last year. It would’ve felt amazing to finally eke out a close one.

(I guess you could count the NW game this year as a bit of an escape, but we were up 8 when the goal line fumble happened, so it felt different than the others.)
