I just cannot figure out whom the staff would target under that criteria at this stage.

Yeah, idk. I would target experienced guys especially if the transfer rules are relaxed. Try to build a legacy team that can go undefeated.

We have another huge class of OAD talent coming in with Vernon Carey in 2019 before the NBA changes the age limit.

Nobody will care if we lose 10 games or so in 2020 if we have 3 straight national titles in the books.

I keep telling you and Cmon, the rule change getting rid of OAD can go into effect as soon this summer, which means the c/o 2019 HS kids would be eligible to enter the 2019 draft. The 2018 class could be the last time an elite prospect plays in college.

“We are going to go to Duke,” Montgomery said. “We have a couple of dates with them. We haven’t pinpointed that date yet, but it is next month. We just have to see which one fits. He gave us a couple of dates around some home games they have.”

Last week the Blue Devils added a pledge from Zion Williamson, giving them pledges from four of the top eight prospects in the 2018 class. Montgomery is currently ranked No. 6 in 247Sports’ player rankings.

“No, everything is still the same,” Montgomery Sr. said when asked if Williamson’s pledge impacted his recruitment.

“They like his size and versatility,” he added.

We have to be viewed as the favorites for our 5th 5-star.
