The 18th Ranked Duke Blue Devils take to the road and travel to Connecticut this week with a 3-0 record. UCONN enters the fray with an 0-3 record losing previously to NC State 24-14, Georgia State 35-14, and last week to Florida International 24-17.
Duke opens as a -22 point favorite. BTW, Duke Football's best season record was in 2013 winning TEN games and finishing with a loss to Texas A&M in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, sporting a 10-4 overall record. Which was also David Cutcliffe's best record at Duke. Steve Spurrier's best record came in 1989 at 8-4 losing to Texas Tech in the All-American Bowl. Those games were back in the day when Men were Men and Women were glad. Today's Blue Devils are led by Mike Elko. He's arguably the best coach at Duke's helm ever. There should be no sleep walking going into this game and homework should all be finished on time as we all expect Duke to keep rolling. After this game the hard work begins and Duke will need to muster up their true mettle.
