The more I talk to people the more I hear Michigan State for Jabari Parker. It's going to be an interesting announcement one week from now.
 
Jabari doesn't know where he's going yet. But a bunch of other people do.

While I don't believe him, that was one of the more convincing versions of the "I set a date to decide even though i have no idea where I'm going" lie. I'll assume the second guessing refers to the standard "Are you sure, honey?" from parents when recruits decide they hate Duke and are going to tell K to GFH.

I agree, I don't think you set a date with Duke in mind while leaving the door slightly open to change your mind to MSU, I think you go the other way around. His heart is all MSU but he'll let his head have a shot at Duke until the end.
 
I hate to say that Josh Paunil knows nothing, but based on convos I've had with him, he knows nothing. I actually had to kick him off our FB page.

All this talk about it being MSU doesn't exactly make me confident though.
 
That TDD Jabari thread is awesome because there are people that think he won't come here because of people joke about how out of shape he is.

FWIW, Michael O'Brien, the Chicago Sun-Times prep sports editor that reported the good news following Parker's visit to Duke, still thinks he will end up at Duke.
 
I'm pretty confident this decision will work out for us.

Edit: Normally I'm not one to rosterbate, but a lineup of Cook, Saluimon, Hood, Parker, MP3 with seniors Thornton, Hairston, sophomore Murphy, and freshmen Jones and Ojeleye....a backup center to help rebound would be nice, but that's a pretty damn good team.
 
Yeah a backup center would be nice but we have so many 6'8" guys (you forgot Amile) that we should be ok and Jiggy has proven he can be serviceable for 5-10 min if needed. Hopefully Marshall stays healthy and fouls less than his brothers did in their early years
