Admittedly this is a bias of mine, but I wish we'd stop elevating action movies with cool set pieces as "masterpieces." Anya Taylor-Joy has 30 total lines of dialogue in this movie. How much story can there really be there? She runs around fighting people, it sounds like.
Something can be an amazing achievement in set design, practical effects, and stunt choreography without being a masterpiece. Movies still have to be grounded in powerful character arcs, thematic exploration, visual symbolism, and story to be masterpieces, imo.
