Is it just me or is there something about this board as opposed to TDD? Posters are more civil towards each other and seem less reluctant to jump down each others throat when there is a disagreement. I like it.

A big part of it is that a lot of us kinda self-selected and largely left TDD a while ago.

Also, none of the morons/trolls have registered (yet).

That being said, what AIW said is definitely true as well. We just wanted a board where we could have substantive discussion without flamewars and the other BS distractions.

I personally don't think that's true, but it certainly could happen. The majority of our members have been interacting with each other regularly for years on various boards. And we know when to walk away. But the most important part of it is that we respect each other.

I can't say that I feel the same wrt current TDD posters.

Also, cameron06, we sincerely appreciate the sentiment. We're hoping that everyone who shows up to participate here will "get it" and be correspondingly civil. We've got a great core group, for sure.
