Duke Forum Death Pool 2017

I think it was when you named your dong the Saturn V that the tide turned.

Skyrockets were definitely in flight after that.

Damn. Was that on anyone's list? BTW, since no one has a correct pick yet I wish more people would get into this pool. Having only four of us is kind of lame.

You do know this isn't a wish list thread, right?

I imagine DDB repeating this list before he goes to bed every night like Arya Stark.

He definitely thinks of Betty White, while in bed, but in a far different context.

RIP Mr. Ilitch, what a life he led. Probably the greatest owner in NHL history, given how he not only restored the Red Wings franchise, but established a model that every other NHL team aspires to. Beloved by his players as well - pretty much an anti-Dolan.

More to my point:

I also have a lot of respect for him saving the Fox Theatre from the wrecking ball.

Fab Melo.

Like Len Bias, a Celtic draft pick gone far too soon.

Wow, that would have ben 74 points in the pool. Probably more than he scored in his entire 'Cuse career

Writer Marc Spitz died last week - RIP. Not sure if his lifestyle caught up to him or not, but 47 is pretty damn young.

He wrote for Spin back in the late 90s/early 00s (did a lot of writing on the Strokes, Ryan Adams, etc.), wrote a Bowie book, but his best work was his memoir 'Poseur.' From the D-F book thread, I reckon most of you are into more challenging reads, but I would suggest giving 'Poseur' a go. It is worthwhile.
