I'll try to update my chart with the standings tonight.

I'm sticking with my Picks of Doom. I don't believe what I pick will happen, but it gives me some minute level of protection against total disappointment.

Sagarin would have Duke favored by about 15. Of course we were also supposed to beat NC State by that much.

Pitt's lineup is big and slow. They like to shoot threes but aren't great at driving. They don't rebound well offensively. If there was ever a good offense that Duke's defense (lol) was made to stop, this is it.

Coach K returns. Crowd will be electric in Cameron. Duke on a winning streak albeit just two games. Kevin Stallings coaching Pitt. All positives in Duke's favor.

What is weird is that when the game is somewhere else, it is usually a complete disaster:

1/23/2016: Duke 88, NC State 78
1/4/2014: Notre Dame 79, Duke 77
1/30/2011: St. John's 93, Duke 78
1/30/2010: Georgetown 89, Duke 77

This doesn't even count the March games in Chapel Hill on CBS, which I don't think we ever won.
