Player Isaiah Evans

In a vacuum, I love Evans. In time, I think he'll become an outstanding player. Unfortunately, I don't think he'll get there before the end of his freshman season and I also don't expect him to be at Duke beyond that.

The reason I went looking for his numbers in the first place was to try to make a less poorly-educated guess as to whether his shooting and ball handling might be good enough for him to get minutes at the 2. I feel like he's way too scrawny to be going up against 24-year-olds at the 3.

FWIW Paolo won the 1-on-1 Iverson Classic event as well in 2021.

Evans won MVP at the AI classic

Not really going out on a limb here due to Evans being higher ranked in HS but I think he’ll have more of an impact next year than the Knipple. Purely due to his superior length and better athleticism. Granted I’m curious how his thin frame will translate as a freshman.
