Back in '93-94, Crash Test Dummies' "Afternoons & Coffeespoons" got a lot of radio playtime, and I always thought the line, "Someday, I'll wear pajamas in the daytime"
was hilarious and absurd.
But now if I'm not going anywhere and it's not summertime, I wear pajama pants all day.

Since I started WFH, I only wear real pants on Sunday mornings or if we go out in the evening. At all other times I’m in athleisure of some kind.

I might have to start going back into the office in the next few weeks for a couple days a week. Completely stupid as there is no real reason for us to be there when we've done our job entirely remote for the last 3 years. But new boss above my boss wants people in the office because that's how it's always been...

There's been a huge tornado outbreak in Nebraska today. Fortunately missed 'most' of Lincoln but several parts of the Omaha metro area got hit, including the airport. My sister and my best friend and his family live in Elkhorn, NE and this photo was taken just down the street from them.



This is early video coming in now from Elkhorn as well.


Tornadoes are common in the state but usually not this early in the calendar year or in high population areas. This is by far the worst storm I've ever seen hit the state in my lifetime.

I just read a few days back that there had been a record low number of tornadoes in the US over the past year, so of course this happens now.
