Just heard that Sandusky was sentenced to 30-60 years in prison, with the judge telling him that he could have given him hundreds of years, but that since he's 68 this is effectively a life sentence.
Thoughts?
Also, for those of you who know more about the law and our legal system, thinking back about things, it does seem like his trial happened very quickly. Am I completely off on this? Don't misunderstand, I'm not screaming conspiracy or that he's innocent...just surprised given that my impression in the past about high profile trials is that they tend to get delayed and dragged out much longer.
