I think it's because UVa was last in the Final Four in 1984, and Duke has won 5 national championships

No, I didn't see Twitter yesterday. I found this because it was this board or the SBNation Duke board, and I don't like SBNation's boards actually. They have writers, but they don't actually pay any of them, do they?

Of course, it could be because Virginia hasn't out-recruited Duke for a Virginia high school player since Bryant Stith, which was in 1988, 30 years-ago.

Duke got Grant Hill (Reston, VA), J. J. Redick (Cave Spring), Joey Beard, Crawford Palmer, and several others.
