I like AJ a lot but having experienced him, Rodney Hood, Cam Reddish, it's pretty clear that mental toughness is a real thing that we should probably talk about more when evaluating prospects. AJ could still be a great pro but he has a ton of growth to do and it has nothing to do with his basketball skills.

Like when you read a scouting report on AJ they will talk about questions marks with his defense and health but haven't seen anyone address the fact that he's often tentative and misses easy shots since he seems reluctant to take them. This seems relevant to me.
