I def see Seth leading us in scoring, not necessarily because he is the best player on our team but because he is going to have the most shots with the vast majority of them being 3's.

Agreed, he's just our best scorer and ill believe we're going to run through the post when I see it

Until Mason consistently posts up within actual scoring range, it'll be Seth.

I know CTC is not much of an indicator, but I believe Mason made every single one of his shots that involved a dunk or a hook within 8 feet. Then in the second half he stopped getting good position and started shooting weird jumpers. I think a lot of this had to do with the differences between Cook running the offense and Thornton. But I also think he still hasn't shaken all of his bad habits.

To be clear, I expect Mason to average 15 and 10. I just expect Seth to be closer to 17 ppg.

Be interesting to see how much Seth's injury hinders him during games.

Can we please get a doctor's analysis on how a stress fracture in his leg could effect him over the course of a season?

I didn't put much stock in what Mason did at CTC. After all, he did have Todd Z guarding him for much of it. I think the Cook offense vs Thornton offense affected and will affect Mason.

Doesn't he have shin splints? Isn't that less severe than a stress fracture?

Full disclosure: all my info on the difference between the two comes from wikipedia.

It'll probably suck when he comes off the floor for rest/halftime

#Continuum

Buy or Sell: Duke as a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Duke has earned a #1 seed in 10 of the past 15 seasons. Their other seeds over the past 15 seasons have been 2, 2, 2, 3 and 6.

It's actually really hard to come up with the four 1-seeds if Duke isn't one of them. Indiana... maybe Louisville... and? I'm not buying NC State making the jump from #35, between Creighton and Long Beach State, to top 4.

No way we are lower than a two-seed. The people projecting us as three or four-seeds are abject morons and don't know their history.

UK could be a one-seed if everyone pans out to their maximum potential.

He has a stress fracture. I don't know what shin splints are like in comparison, but I am not a doctor.

I missed that bit of news, too. Is that the word around campus, 13?

Maybe 13 is mixing up Marshall's injury (stress fracture) with Curry's? I had only heard lingering shin issues (shin splints).

John said lingering shin issues. Coach K said it's something that could bother him all year.

If it was a stress fracture wouldn't he be completely sidelined like Marshall? Word is he can play right now but they are resting him.

Buy or Sell: Curry passing the ball Mason more than 3 times a game.
