Last night I had a dream that with Zion injured for the Pelicans' second play-in game, he was replaced with Station from Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. There was some argument among the refs about whether this was legal, since Station can split into two smaller versions of himself (as shown in the movie). But they ended up letting him play because there's "nothing in the rule book against it." In other words, the Air Bud clause.

Unfortunately, I woke up before I got to see if Station was any good at basketball. He/it does have roughly Zion's physique though.

Also zero TOs. Super impressive turnaround for him there after (I think) 15 in the first two games.

I don't understand how few foul shots he draws sometimes though. Two FTAs on 26 FGAs? Does he just avoid all contact or something?

He's been among the highest FT rate guys ever in his first two years in the regular season. Must just be a function of the Cavs' rim protectors and packed paint defensively. Also maybe just a product of playoff basketball.

Brace yourselves for JJ Redick being at the eye of a diversity storm if the Hornets pick him. Some will undoubtedly bring up the Duke lacrosse case, in which rich white Duke athletes raped a young black woman with a bright future ahead of her, and Redick did nothing to stop it.

If my math is right, Tatum can get to 1st on this list if they make the Finals and win at least 1-2 games.

Two more games against the Heat, five against the Magic, and six against the Knicks seems reasonable. Then they lose to the Nuggets in six. That's 19 games. If he only scores 23 ppg (several points below his average), that's 437 more points. That would put him at 2746, comfortably ahead of Kobe. And all those estimates are conservative, imo. He could easily average more, and they could easily be in some seven-game series.
