I see no reason that Sulaimon couldn't play PG in the NBA. K is setting him up perfectly for a Singleresque decision to return for his senior year and take over the team at PG when Tyus goes pro.

Right, Nolan didn't make it as a PG. But Sulaimon is at least two inches taller. It does seem like he could be a serviceable backup with good defensive abilities.

I agree with the point of Andre's frame being conducive to greater strength than Seth, but I disagree that Andre has shown the athleticism necessary to guard multiple positions. He is not very quick.

If Andre dedicates himself, he may be a passable defensive 2-guard in the pros.

Rome, I get your point, but if Dawkins realizes making a roster/getting playing time is contingent upon his defense, he's got a much higher defensive ceiling than Curry does. Dawkins has the frame and the athleticism to guard multiple positions, it was always a matter of focus. So a team needing a 3 & D guy is much more likely to go for Dawkins than Curry.

Why would they? I wonder if he'll manage to stay in the league.

Lol at how I thought he was going to be better than Kyrie (when both were in high school). That was quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever said in a long list of dumb things I've said.

Not a huge shock, and the kid needs to at least top 40% from the field if he's going to try to get picked up by someone else. He's improving, but may not be doing so quickly enough. That said, he seems like a guy who could star in the D-League against worse defenders and earn another look.

However, Rivers is not the highest-ranking member of his draft class to not have his option picked up; that distinction belongs to Thomas "Oh yeah, that guy" Robinson, the 5th pick (Sacramento).

2 partial Dukies, a half-Dukie-in-law, and a Hansbrough in the top 5 of the NBDL draft

Before he even announced any games, ESPN knew Battier was their best guy for the job. Best guy for just about anything basketball related now.

The fuck is wrong with Kelly's hamstrings this year? Hamstring issues earlier this year had made him miss games twice.

Ryan was tweeting this summer about his workouts with a guy named Mark Adams in Cary. What did that guy do to Ryan's legs?!?!?!

Oddly, this might be a great time for Ryan to get hurt for a little while.
