Decent nuts and bolts article on the Curry/Kings situation:

Curry can probably get something like 4 years $16 million if he opts out this summer. There will be tons of cap space being thrown around, but unfortunately not by any of the title contenders at that price for a bench guy. Curry's smarter move would be to go to a franchise/coach that will play him consistent minutes, on a shorter deal that allows him to earn an even bigger long term contract. Something like 2 years, player option after 1 year, $3 million a year. Basically a 50% raise from his current deal, with an extra year at his option. Average ~15 efficient points a game in starter/6th man minutes, and get a deal for 4 years $24 million the next summer.
Teams that could play him a lot next season, in order of competitiveness:
Grizzlies - They've needed shooting for years.
Pistons - They desperately need (1) a backup combo guard and (2) shooting.
Bulls - Same.
Knicks - Same, if they're ready to give up on Jerian Grant, who is only two years younger than Curry.
Nets - They need raw production at every position and have no incentive to tank.
Lakers - Same, but they might want to tank another season.
Sixers - Same, but they want to tank another season.
