I was skeptical when some of the 2015 players cited Justise as the funniest guy on the team, given that Marshall was on the same team. Now I'm starting to see how it might be true.

Watched the 2001 Final Four. Battier had more highlight defensive plays in two games than our entire team has in a year lately.

That was incredible. I have still never seen anyone do that in any level of basketball. Or at least I haven't noticed it.

I continue to believe Redick has done more for the Duke brand/program than any other former player, even more than Irving. He got Woj on Duke's side after Woj wrote a terribly damning hit piece on K, and now he's collaborating with Simmons on podcasts. I'm sure Simmons will continue to root against Duke, but based on what he has said in these podcasts with Redick, it's obviously a self-aware, good-humored bitterness now, rather than the irrational Trump supporter-esque hatred most Duke haters spew.

As we all knew, Wojo's recruiting and appeal to elite athletes is phenomenal. It's his lack of drive/heart/grit and woeful knowledge of Xs and Os that always hurt the Duke staff.
