I wouldn't read too much into anything that happened beyond the 6th. Even Valverde was allowed to pitch to a couple of batters.
 
I'm going to just convince myself that Justin Upton meant to bobble that and fool Gomez into trying to stretch out that single to take extra bases. Out at third. :lol: :P
 
Mets get to Strasburg for 4 in the first 2 innings, but he's settled in. 8 of the 12 outs are Ks.
 
Mets bullpen already has 2 blown saves (and about to take the loss). Soon, Valverde will be the closer.
 
Amazing that a team with such a great rotation that they can afford to stash Dice in AAA-ball would give up 9 runs on opening day.
 
They have a shitty bullpen. Rotation is good. Dice-K is hit and miss.

I can't wait for this season to be over.

6 home runs in citifield today. Moved the fences in too far. Lol.
 
Also, there was apparently some financial reason to stick Dice-K in the minors, with Niese on the DL, he'll be up soon.
 
Yeah, they were talking like he'd still get 15-20 starts this year.

Bullpen gives up 4 in the 10th
 
But he throws a knuckleball and wrote a book about it. So everything will be ok.
