I never said it was bad. There's no cap in baseball, so they are doing what they should do, leveraging their brand to buy the best product they can. They have been very savvy and out front for decades. They developed their own TV Network in the 70's. They were the first to spend big on a Japanese star to create a TV market in Japan. They had a scouting department in the DR a decade before anyone else.

You're right. I shouldn't solely pick on the Dodgers but that is why MLB needs a salary cap.
