But, but, but 28,000 good construction jobs and american steel
Best part? Keystone is owned by a Canadian company. And they sued American home and land owners over the pipeline route.

Trump's two leading candidates for the Supreme Court vacancy:

So one candidate is basically fine, with stellar credentials, shares many of the qualities people from both sides admired about Scalia. The other candidate is open about hating gays and abortion and would have one of the least impressive pedigrees of any justice ever. We know which one Trump will pick. The Dems better be ready to put up a fight and force his hand.

Whoever tweets for Badlands National Park has been tweeting about CO2 and the atmosphere with #climate. They have all been deleted.

This is going to be a really rough 4 years for science.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Reading some articles about this, it looks as though the message to cease and desist may not be coming directly from the White House but from the department heads who either are worried about repercussions from the White House or have gotten threats from them already.

God bless Freedom of Speech. Oh wait a second...

Edit - nevermind. This just goes to official social media, not the employees ability to use social media outside of work...

Well, they did want a list of every person in these departments that did research on things they disagreed with, so...

Oh the one hand, I don't want to be like those people who waited with great certainty for eight years for Obama and his troop of UN white hats to come and take their guns away. On the other hand, I don't want to be Anne Frank.

Yep.

I try not to get overly dramatic about political stuff, but there seems to be this foolish notion out there that all we have to do is bide our time until the next president and that our democracy is too strong to be ruined by this guy. In fact, he can do irreparable damage – particularly if he keeps shotgunning dangerous policy changes and executive orders at such a rate that no one can keep up, and if the leaders of both parties continue to be too chickenshit to actually oppose him on anything.

Things could get really fucked up, really fast.

And none of that takes into account the fact that he might legitimately be an insane person.

He is probably about to launch in investigation into voter fraud. We all know what the outcome will be. We cannot trust a single thing that comes out of this administration. He is burning it all down much faster than expected and with Congress being a bunch of pussies, he may ruin this country forever.

Oh, and he definitely has some mental issue, whether he is legit insane or has narcissistic personality disorder.
