For Cook's sake, I hope this photo shows how they measure height, so they include his hair. But for the sake of humanity, I hope they're not including hair in the measurements. It doesn't add much value to a player, though I guess if you could put your hair in a fro up a few feet in the air, it would actually make a difference on defense.

I saw him in a combine scrimmage. Did nothing and played poor defense in the one rotation I saw him. Missed a 3 pointer and was blocked by Boatwright on a drive.

Apparently he balled out in at least one other scrimmage. Led all scorers with 18 pts and ran the team really well.

Anyway,

I came here to just mention how it crossed my mind how lucky we are we landed Quinn Cook over Myck Kabongo. That was a fairly big recruiting decision at the time to choose Cook over Kabongo and a lot of people, probably myself included, were upset we missed on The Big Bongo. This has to be one of the best recruiting outcomes Duke has had in the last 10-15 years.
