I thought two things:

1, 29 mbs is pretty trbl and
2. C+? like how slow does it have to be to be below average?

The "top" U-Verse speed offered by AT&T in Wilmington is 1.50 mbs. Yes, that dot is in the right place. Their step down option from there is 768 Kbps. This is why I can never leverage a better rate from TWC - they know I really don't have a choice.

29 mbs is not terrible. Y'all are trippin'

What is the benefit of having more than like 10? Can't you stream HD reliably at like 5?

I don't really understand this arms race.

Half the time when I was at 30~mbps, Amazon and Netflix would knock my stream down from HD to SD because of my internet connection.

Also, HD is going from 720 to 1080 to 4k. That eats up a lot more bandwidth.

Do you even watch pron?
Have you tried to browse TDF's pictures and vidoes thread?

Fuck all you guys. In Wilkes-Barre I have to get Verizon internet, which actually has a Fiberoptic option in certain regions but not here. I am stuck with the 7-15 MB/S option and it doesn't feel even that fast most of the time. It's been taking me two hours to download 2GB TV episodes.

Moral of the story, I would kill for 29 MB/S. I found a torrent site that has every old basketball game ever, and I don't think I'll be able to use it due to community rules about upload and download speeds.

Yep. Tested it and got 1.86. LOL. This is literally one of two options in town. I'm surprised I'm able to use the NCAA's streaming site and/or ESPN3.

Have you used it? I'm a novice to the torrent thing.

I think Pants uses apps like tinder to have sex with actual girls which is weird when there's a whole world of pron out there.

Oh yeah, I think I tried that tracker once, but let my membership lapse. I don't remember their selection being that good.

I've been getting close to the 50/5 I'm paying for with TWC, but every now and then this abortion happens. I'm looking forward to Google Fiber coming in but haven't heard when it'll be available.

My experience with TWC in the triangle is that it has horrible lapses. There would be 1-2 hours a day when it just sucked all together, usually in the morning or 7-8 at night.
