This is a pretty neat little tool, but I have to laugh because sometimes it will just straight up lie to you about something supposedly in whatever document you have it parse, and after calling it out on the page citation given, will admit it got "confused" and provided "incorrect information". I think teachers are still safe for now

Someone should tell Elon Musk it's okay to back off a dumb idea.

There's a plugin company called Waves. They might be the most successful music production plugin company of all time. They recently said they were going to a subscription only model -- meaning it would be impossible to own their plugins. You could only rent them. And furthermore, for people who already owned them there would be no more software updates. The plugins would keep working, but if you happened to download a new operating system and they were incompatible, you would be screwed. Anyway, about 20 prominent YouTubers with music production channels put out videos being like "Fuck Waves." The very next day, Waves announced their plugins would still be available for purchase. People generally applauded them for doing the right thing and went right back to using their plugins.

I still think the verification will magically reappear after some mega corp sues Elon after their stock plummets from bogus news from a twitter blue account.

I don’t know why we are where we are with local sports broadcasts. Somehow the economics created a situation where a lot of people can’t watch local teams. Now I guess people with money are realizing that sucks.

The Nuggets' situation, which I've posted about before, is especially ridiculous. As far as I know, it's ongoing.

I did figure out that if you have NBA League Pass you can use a VPN to reset your area to avoid local blackouts. Not sure if it would work on YTTV due to the way they track your area. But it worked great on Amazon the few times I wanted to watch Boston or New Orleans play Charlotte.

I hate blackouts. It killed my interest in watching regular season baseball. It's also why I haven't bought NBA league pass since 2018. I understand the idea of blackouts but it's such a dumb way to annoy your sports hardcore fans.

He's just weeks away from posting a "god gives his toughest warriors the toughest battles" shitpost when the bills catch up to him.

Microsoft OneDrive is the worst piece of software ever created.
I used to use OneNote for notetaking when I was away from my computer. At one point it updated and wiped everything I had. It was supposed to be backed up in OneDrive. It wasn't. I lost years worth of notes.

I had a similar experience with Skype wiping three years of conversations with friends without warning. I read of that happening to many other people as well. Microsoft is truly shit.

Okay, so I'm sick of dealing with recording latency and lack of storage space on my Mac. Selling a few things and using some savings to buy a new Mac.

Decided I'm going top of the line. It's expensive as shit, but it should serve me for years.
