Give me Elite 8 all day, even if we had to endure that second half. Pathetic performance. Just gotta hope some players actually take it to heart and spend the offseason trying to get better and prove themselves next year. But that's tough to expect given today's landscape of kids caring more about other things than the one thing they're good at.

Saw something interesting on another forum.

The O/U on was 141.5 on Yahoo, don't know about other places. The final point total was 140.
In the final seconds, while everyone else was content to let the clock run out (and Scheyer even told them to stop fouling IIRC) McCain was playing D with the same intensity as Friday night, fouls Horne with 1 second left in a completely meaningless act. Horne hits 2 free throws and then McCain proceeds to launch one from halfcourt that just misses.

Was he trying to pull a 2004 Duhon?
