Reddish is also on campus dealing with a health issue. He was wearing a walking boot on his right foot on Wednesday as he deals with a stress reaction that he said will sideline him for two or three weeks.

“Nothing serious,” Reddish said. “Just being preventative. I’ll be all right.”

Reddish said he is confident he’ll be healthy to play in Canada.

Hopefully he's telling the truth. You never know with these injuries, though.

I've never understood that strategy. Avoid letting all the small muscles rebuild and get accustomed to everyday, normal movements, but subject them to the intense stresses of basketball.

I assume Duke basketball has decent medical minds at their disposal, but it makes no intuitive sense to me.
