And what about Knox makes you think he's a 3? His mediocre three-point shooting? His okay handle? Justise had far more perimeter skills than Knox has and the 4 ended up being his best position. Additionally Knox is several inches taller than Justise and just as physically strong. Any lineup with Knox at the 3 is going to suffer with respect to spacing, but his average perimeter skills become an asset at the 4.
He has improved his 3-point shooting and handle, and it is something he's still working on, but you are right- spacing could be an issue. I think, defensively, a lineup of Duval, Kennard, Knox, Carter, and Bamba would/will be dynamite. You'd then have Frank off the bench with the ability to play 1 or 2. Trent Jr. with the ability to play the 2. Offensively, we very well could see a Duval/Frank/Luke/Trent lineup of death with Carter or Bamba as the rim protector. There are so many possibilities when you assemble this type of talent. Of course, Frank could go pro and Bamba could wind up at UCONN or Kentucky, but I doubt it.
