It's funny to me how a lot of these talking heads come out against the NCAA and the current system when most of those talking heads' livelihoods depends on the system in place.

It seems kind of stupid for a school to restrict a player's transfer options, especially when they've graduated. It's a bad look and can end up being negative PR. Just imagine the outrage if K ever did it.

A good general rule to live by - if you're ever on the same side of a controversy as Stallings, you should probably rethink your stance.

There are hundreds of other D1 schools plus other professional options (if he thinks he's good enough). He is hardly being restricted. Like Klahn said, instead of having 350 options, he has 340. It's not a big deal.

Why should the school have the right to restrict at all? Makes no sense to me.

Doesn't matter how many other options there are. That argument seems specious to me.

If someone like Vrank graduates in 3 years from Duke with all the benefits of being part of the basketball program for 3 years, including becoming a master of post moves, shotblocking and rebounding under GOAT God Emperor K while watching and learning from the bench, and then he wants to go have fun at UNC for a year immediately with the grad transfer rule and use those learnings against K, then I would not like that.

So if Duke gets off to a bad start to the season and Daniel Jones wants to play in a bowl game, he should be able to move to Virginia Tech in mid season, right?

I like this trio very much
