Hairston with just about the worst sequence of any Duke scholarship player in K's tenure. Got an offensive board and hit the bottom of the backboard trying to put it back up while still in the air. Then commits an incredibly stupid foul on the miss.

Cook with yet another missed midrange shot, this time a "floater" from about 15 feet. A great 3pt shooter, a great penetrator, a great passer... why decide now, in this close game, to take 5 midrange shots when you can't make any of them?

Santa Clara is finishing this game strong with 2.5 ppp over their past 10 possessions. Duke's defense appears to be letting them score.

Another dumb foul by Hairston. No, I don't want Hairston as the only option next year when Marshall gets injured or in foul trouble.

The scary thing is that Hairston so completely outplayed Jefferson and Murphy in practice this week that K wouldn't even give Jefferson or Murphy a chance in this game.
