Music

Ashes and Fire was really a deviation from his normal stuff, but still just simple good music. Some of his older albums are super deep.

I like everything he puts out because he is from the same town and went to the same high school as I did.

Has anyone listened to The Head And The Heart?

As far as live performances, my go-tos for great youtube videos are Tiny Desk Concert and A Takeaway Show.

Love the spontaneity of this one and the Parisian kids that randomly join them.

I like this a lot too simply for the real love you can feel between them.

I just realized Tracy Chapman was in fact a woman. It blew my mind.

I, too, found that out recently and was completely thrown through a loop.

Far more embarrassing than that, I thought Rush's lead singer was a woman until maybe a couple years ago.

Nice, I saw the Walkmen last year. They were kind of eh but I think thats because the crowd was shit.

I don't mind being judged on this one, but the LDOC with Gym Class Heroes was awesome.

First concert I really went to drunk and whatnot..

The music video for this song is perfect.

Not my favorite song on the new album by far, but I love the album overall and I love Idris Elba. For some reason this reminded me of the movie he did, Sometimes in April, which is an HBO movie about the Rwandan genocide and imo is far better than Hotel Rwanda.
