Lol the Colts really suck to lose to this Texans team. The Texans are so bad and swept the Colts. Pagano should be fired tonight.

Of course, according to the announcement last week, the extension had been agreed to during the summer. Now the Rams, as a result of the extension, are on the hook for a bigger contract buyout.

LMAO at the Rams. Pockets full of money after the move, and this is the best they can come up with.

My day was made when Brock Assweiler got benched by the Texans. Tom Savage comes in and the Texans come back down 13-0 to win 21-20. Savage threw the ball to Hopkins so he's already superior to Assweiler.
 


The decision to finally bench Assweiler costs the opposing coach his livelihood.

Son of a bitch. It was like a 0.1% chance of happening, but for the Colts to make the playoffs, they needed Jacksonville to beat Tennessee next week (and Cincinnati to beat Houston and then Tennessee to beat Houston next week plus the Colts win at Oakland and vs Jacksonville).

Good news is the Tennessee game is in the early afternoon slot, and the Colts game is in the late afternoon slot. When Tennessee beats Jacksonville, the Colts can sit Luck, Hilton, and anyone else worth sitting the last two games. 7-9 still doesn't give you a great draft pick. Should have started tanking weeks ago, but that won't happen when the coach and the GM are both fighting for their jobs. It'll be awesome when the Colts play so well they win out and finish 9-7, don't make the playoffs, get an even worse draft pick, and Pagano keeps his job.
 





Can you imagine getting a 1st from them for him? It'd be Christmas goddamn morning. And he's perfect for LA since he's essentially Jeff Fisher 2.0

Would be amazing. Panthers would probably hire Jeff Fisher, though.
 
Schefter on TV talking about "two surprise HC openings after this season no one is talking about". I'm getting giddy. To actually get potentially *compensated* for kicking Rivera to the trash heap? That'd be the best win of the season.

JR forced Rivera down Gettleman's throat when he got here. Didn't want to let a coach go after 2 seasons. But Gettleman must recognize how dreadful Rivera is as a situational football coach.
 
God the Texans are so fucking awful to watch. Truly a class of their own in awfulness.
