We don't look good right now. We're missing a bunch of regulars, but still, down 1-0 after 8 minutes.

I assume most of you have seen this by now, but if not, it's amazing.

On a semi-related note, Joe Hart is absolute garbage. He has been a major weak spot for Man City this season and both this goal as well as another goal in this game (40 yard strike from a free kick) were solely on him. Bring in Fraser Forster if you want to win, England. Then again, I'd prefer you didn't.

The only thing less impressive than the keeper's header is the Swedish brain trust's failed High 10.

Messi is definitely a better ball handler, passer, and shooter.

I usually agree with you but no way he is a better shooter this is the only area that really should not be argued. Now I will give you Messi is a better dribbler in one v one but NO ONE I have seen is better breaking down a double team then Ronaldo. I also think Pace for each is about even but Ronaldo stride makes him more dangerous in the open field and last but not least MESSI is TERRIBLE in the air. That can not be argued. Ronaldo is better in the air.

So to me Ronaldo is 1A with Messi 1B Each person likes something different about them.

We'll just agree to disagree. Messi, to me, is far and away the best shooter in the game. Ronaldo might be better in the air if only because his stature gives him that advantage. Still, if you were drafting a team, Messi would be the #1 pick 99 out of 100 times.

I am ok with that.. LOL

for me Messi just gets more shot attempts then Ronaldo.. If you had to pick a Team of 11 what would your team look like?

Love that question:

Casillas

Lahm Pique Silva Marcelo

De Rossi Xavi

Ronaldo Iniesta Ozil

Messi

For funsies, my U21 starting 11

Ter Stegen

Jones Papodopoulus Varane

Hazard Thiago Eriksen Wilshere Gotze

Love this Pick.. I would only change De Rossi for Toure because I think you gain more on the defensive side then you would and he would leak out on the counter attack well.

"Hey Beckham, is this 'Celtic' a good team?"
"Yeah, they're a pretty big deal."
"Cool, I think I'll buy them and you can play there in your 40's."

Yep. 100% agree.

Yeah, I heard about this yesterday (because I'm that good mother fuckers) and I'm totally on board. It was actually being reported that he had already bought some shares but I guess that's not the case now. Also, there's been a picture of Snoop in a Celtic kit online for years. My guess is that he didn't know who they were, and just liked the awesome green and white hoops.

But honestly, it's not like we're struggling for famous fans. We've got Rod Stewart singing songs about us, Gerard Butler making a love story about himself as a former Celtic legend, and so many more it's impossible to count. Adding Snoop Lion to the list would be great, but I don't see it as a big thing either way. The thing I'd love to see happen is to sign Juan Agudelo to a loan spell during his offseason, as he's in Glasgow right now training with the team. That would give US national team fans a more recent link to the club, and that would mean much more to Celtic's allure in the states than Snoop buying some shares.
