Robbie Rogers came out of the closet today. Unfortunately he also said he will be taking time away from soccer, although it isn't clear whether or not he'll retire. Holden, Beasley, and Kleichstan have all come out in support of him so far.

If there's one thing I'm more passionate for than Duke sports, it's soccer. Been a lifelong United fan going back to watching the '77 F.A. Cup final sitting in my dad's lap on an old black-and-white tv set back home. Suffered through Liverpool's domination in the 80s, and naturally, United's rise to prominence came after I moved to the US in '92 :roll:

Anyway, long story short, United fan, and not your typical gloryhunter.

Hats off to Milan for a superb game against Barca yesterday. They showed just how you need to play Barca if you're going to have any chance against their style. If you can be physical and disrupt them enough, then you can catch them on the break. And the sooner they dump that horrendous away jersey, the better.

Great result for Spurs today. Left it late, but they thoroughly dominated the 2nd half, and Dembele's equalizer to put them ahead on aggregate was no more than they deserved. And as much as I'm a fan of the English game in general, it thrills me to see Sparta and Zenit giving Chelsea and Liverpool fits respectively right now.
