NBA

There's really nothing about Lance Thomas' body or shooting/handling/passing abilities that implies he should be an NBA player scoring a dozen double digit point games every season, but here we are.

Looks like that NYC jeweler knew talent when he saw it even in 2009

I've watched some of the highlights. It's hilarious how ridiculously wide open he gets in Fisher's offense. Maybe it's just people playing off of him based on reputation, but if you leave him wide-the-fuck-open from 15 feet, he can nail that shot. And that's been a big part of what he's been doing.

Lance is like the mid-range Ryan Kelly now, except that unlike 2015 Ryan Kelly, he hits his shots. It's amazing that this is the same guy who earlier THIS SEASON shot 35% from the field in 22 games with OKC.

So the Thunder traded one of the best players in the league, James Harden, instead of cutting one of the worst players in the league, Kendrick Perkins, and got rid of Lance Thomas, while adding one of the worst players in the league, Dion Waiters.

The worst part in all of that was getting rid of Lance Thomas. Maybe their window is closed for good.

Perk is plenty bad, but they also could have kept Lance just by waiving Perry Jones.

Jones is the Alex Murphy of the NBA -- nice enough guy, looks like he has potential, and is a versatile three or a stretch 4!

Except that he can't rebound (2.3 in 19 mpg), block shots (0.2 in 19 mpg), or hit shots (42% Fg, 24% 3FG). His PER (7.14) is even worse than Perkins's, and he sure as hell can't guard centers, which Perkins can sometimes do.

I remember when Presti was considered possibly the best GM in the league. What a fall from grace.

Warriors played like shit in the first half against the Jazz, god damn.

finally got around to seeing the Hawks in person tonight. Man was that fucking fun. Who knew that basketball could be a thing that makes people smile.

Also, LMA is a bad man.

Another blowout win for the Cavs

Minny's PG went 0-5. 10 game sample size can't be ignored; kyrie is shutting down opposing PGs every night now.

LeBron and Kyrie are easily the #1 and #2 players in the conference now, in terms of individual impact. Would be a massive choke for Cavs to lose the east.
