I had been a few weeks ago for other stuff and complained about not being able to hear well out of my left ear. She looked inside and saw a shitload of wax, but we didn't have time to flush my ears that day. Then a couple days later, I couldn't hear out of my right ear. So I bumped the follow-up appointment to today.

Apparently I have "small ear canals" according to her. They get clogged pretty easily. It happens most often in the summer and winter, when I'm exposed to central heat or air-conditioning.

BTW, TorontoDuke, she's really hot and from Manitoba. She's moving back up to Canada in October, unfortunately. She's my favorite doctor ever, once again proving the superiority of Canadian health care.

Braved the horrors of Southpoint today. For me, malls are a kind of existential hell and Southpoint is that at its most extreme.

But I wanted to see The End of the Tour and that was the only place it was playing. Spending gluttonous amounts of money in vast crowds of other people all doing the same makes me sad. I haven't been to a movie in so long I almost thought the concession stand prices were someone trolling me.
