I don't think we're going to get anyone in here instead of chat.

Our offense was really good, despite Allen's idiocy and Ingram not being able to finish. Our defense...yeah. There wasn't any. Not entirely the players' fault though. Five guys against a team that runs constantly. And they're badly outsized on the glass.

Maybe I'm projecting, but I feel like after the last two games, our guys were looking forward to being "guarded" by UNC. Carolina's non-bigs just pretty much let anyone get into the paint no problem. Their bigs can contest a lot of shots, but not enough to make up for their sieve of a perimeter D.

One of the things Duke has had success with over the past few years (not just with these UNC upperclassmen) is to make the UNC bigs handle the ball on the perimeter. It really is effective at slowing the offense down or creating turnovers.

A 0-4 record, even though it doesn't get any worse, wouldn't be too shabby without any more injuries and with further signs of development in the freshmen. 1-3 would be downright satisfactory. 2-2 would be great and uplifting. 3-1 would be legendary, a feat to tell your grandchildren about. 4-0 would likely be remembered by Duke fans as the greatest four-game performance of any six players in college basketball history.
